Who We Are

Emerson Senior Living, a company that has specialized in Alzheimer care since 1995, manages each Emerson House. The founders and owners of Emerson Senior Living are Jim Ameri and Alan Kinsel.

Jim is principally responsible for the day-to-day operations of each Emerson House. Jim is a past Board Member of the Oregon Alzheimer’s Association where he served for three years. He holds a BS from the California Polytechnic University, Pomona and an MS from Stanford University.

Alan directs the development of new Emerson House residences. He has over twenty years of experience developing multi-family and senior housing projects. He graduated from the University of California, Berkeley and holds an MBA from Stanford University.
