Emerson House is managed by Kinsel Ameri Properties, a company that has specialized in Alzheimer's care since 1999. In addition to the Boise and Portland Emerson House locations, Kinsel Ameri Properties manages two other assisted living facilities and approximately 1,800 apartment units in the Pacific Northwest. Founders Jim Ameri and Alan Kinsel have a strong commitment to quality and strive to ensure that Emerson House consistently sets the standard other memory care communities are judged by. Specially planned physical environments, staffing patterns and Life Enrichment programs, together with the flexibility to adapt to local needs, make each Emerson House property the leader for Alzheimer's and dementia care in its community.

Jim is a past Board Member of the Oregon Alzheimer's Association where he served for three years. He holds a BS from the California Polytechnic University, Pomona and an MS from Stanford University.

Alan has over twenty years of experience developing multi-family and senior housing projects. He graduated from the University of California, Berkeley and holds an MBA from Stanford University.
